Weekday Warriors is an after school recreation program that runs from the hours of 3:00pm-5:00pm Monday to Friday. Studies have shown that this is a high risk time for youth to engage in “undesirable” activities due to a lack of supervision between the time they finish school and their parents finish work. Due to this, the Boys and Girls Club of Yukon developed the Weekday Warriors after School Program.
Weekday Warriors provides dynamic, entertaining, engaging programming fuelled by the children's current interests and developmental needs. Each week we present a new exciting theme with crafts/games for the youth to get immersed in. We offer healthy snacks, fun and active programming, bring in facilitators and assist with basic homework help. Currently we are running our program at Elijah Smith, and Whitehorse Elementary for children ages 6-12. Please see the parent handbook for pricing.

Our program continues to run Monday through to Friday, from 3:00pm-5:00pm, for up to twenty participants a day
